Dream Within a Dream

This original song, written by Vic Schukov, with lyrics by both Vic and his wife, Corinne Sukosd, is close to Vic's heart. Dream Within a Dream, sung by Vic and Liesje Wagner, was filmed in Brighton, Ontario and recorded at GMM Studios. The cinematographer is Zach Madge, and the aerial cinematography was done by Joshua Scudds.

Zanzibar

This is a song Roger wrote in 2025, music first, lyrics later with a theme of insecurity. Roger think smany artists are introverts and are searching for their 'safe' space to create in; quiet and without distractions. Running away to Zanzibar sounds great but perhaps we can only take so much solitude.

Honey, I've Lost My Mind

A song about thoughts of madness, but it's ok, a sign more of the troubled times we now live in.

As I Wander

This is a song Roger wrote in 2025. Roger often practices slide tunes in open G or open D to 'keep my slide blues chops up'. This song developed from a riff in open D tuning on an acoustic guitar. Roger tends to write darker lyrics but decided to try and set a more optimistic tone, despite all the 'monsters in my head', it's now time 'to let all that go'.

Sometimes

Written on piano in winter of 2022, the developing Ukraine war, broken promises by world leaders on Global Warming mitigation and the loss of a dear friend all inspired this one. Randee Dann wrote most of the lyrics with some tweaking by Roger to match the rhythm and cadence. 'Sometimes we're graced another dance - Luck, DNA or Circumstance'. All photos were taken by Roger, many in Scotland while visiting their daughter who now lives there, the history is palpable.

It's a Fine Line

Climate change theme of course, but it's something we all feel must be repeated, we must all keep 'banging the drum', if not for us, for our children and grandchildren.

Jacky

The mistreatment of animals is always full of intense emotions. Work horses, pit ponies and war horses were often mistreated and it's a grim reality. The subject is not easy, we want to ignore and turn away, there's no cheerful sing along here but it's still relevant, many pit ponies are still underground today in different parts of the world, particularly in Pakistan. A charitable organization 'The Brooke' https://www.thebrooke.org/ is very involved in working animal welfare and donations can be made on their website.
